Issue 03
Every event in Ibiza is beautiful. That’s exactly the problem ↓
Walk through any season on this island and you’ll see it. The candlelit finca. The long table under the olive trees. The sunset that does half the work. Stunning, every single time, and so alike that by September nobody can tell one from another.
Beautiful has become the minimum. It’s no longer what makes people remember you.
What people remember is intention. When every choice, from the colour of the invitation to the pace of the evening, comes from one clear idea, guests sense it without being able to name it. That coherence is rare, and it’s what turns a beautiful event into one that feels like nothing else.
The events and brands that truly stand out here aren’t trying to look like Ibiza. They’re creating their own version of it.
A small directory of how I think
Feeling before form. Before I talk about colours or locations, I ask what someone should feel. Everything else is a consequence of that answer.
One idea, everywhere. The invitation, the website, the space and the final film should feel like chapters of the same story, not separate pieces from separate people.
Restraint is a choice. On an island that offers everything, deciding what to leave out is often the most creative decision.
Sound sets the pace. I always want to know what the room will sound like. Music decides how people move, and how they move decides what they remember.
The quiet moments matter. The pause before guests arrive, the last table at the end of the night. That’s often where the truest images live.
After is part of it. An event doesn’t end when the music stops. The story you tell afterwards is how it lives on.
So if you’re planning something this season, ask yourself one honest question. Not “will it look beautiful?” It will. Ask: “Will anyone still feel it a year from now?”
If the answer isn’t a clear yes, let’s talk.
